The Salt Lake Stallions take on the Arizona Hotshots in their first-ever games in the AAF on Saturday, and here’s how you can watch the action online.
Football isn’t over just yet, even if the NFL season has come to a close. The Alliance of American Football (AAF) kicked off its first-ever season on Saturday with two games of action. Sunday will now feature two more games worth of action in the new pro football league, and the nightcap of the festivities will feature the Salt Lake Stallions traveling to face the Arizona Hotshots in Western Conference action.
One of the brilliant things that the AAF has done in trying to make the league get off the ground with a solid following is their allocation of players to teams. This means that players who either went to college or played with an NFL team close to one of their eight franchises are pigeonholed to one of those teams.
For the Arizona Hotshots, that means that the likes of former Arizona Cardinals quarterback Trevor Knight, as well as Pac-12 alums like Scooby Wright III, Josh Huff and Thomas Durante are all featured on the roster. For the Salt Lake Stallions, former Utah Utes running back Matt Asiata, BYU receiver Jordan Leslie and Utah receiver Kaelin Clay will all be suiting up.
This adds even more intrigue to the new league that is ready to hit the ground running, giving football fans a chance to detox a bit by getting in on the AAF. Here’s how you can watch Sunday’s game.
