1. Arizona Cardinals: Quinnen Williams, DT, Alabama

Before the start of the 2018 college football and NFL seasons, two names dominated the talk as the top prospects, and neither were Quinnen Williams. However, the redshirt sophomore took the college football landscape over in his first full season as a starter on the interior of Alabama’s defensive line and led the elite Crimson Tide defense back to another National Championship Game before falling to the Clemson Tigers.

Projected as a solid power rushing defensive tackle at the next level, Williams finished his 2018 campaign with eight sacks and played often in the opponent’s backfield, tallying nearly 20 tackles for loss as well. Williams finished his time in Tuscaloosa with 10 sacks and 26 tackles for loss in just 24 games. This type of elite production, in the SEC no less, will vault you in front of names such as Nick Bosa, Josh Allen and Ed Oliver.

The Arizona Cardinals are in need of an upgrade in their defensive front that consists of Cory Peters, Robert Nkemdiche and Markus Golden. While Peters and Nkemdiche are serviceable, Golden struggled in 2018, playing to the tune of a below average score of 52.3 according to Pro Football Focus (subscription required).

Williams would transform this defensive front and give the Cardinals instant impact up front.
