2. San Francisco 49ers: Nick Bosa, EDGE, Ohio State

Nick Bosa had his junior season and college career cut short by injury after he decided to withdraw from school to focus on his recovery and preparation for the NFL Draft. While the move is completely understandable, it was a shame as Bosa was off to a torrid start to his 2018 season with four sacks before he suffered an injury to his core after just two and a half games.

Playing just 29 games in his college career, Bosa finished with 17.5 sacks and 29 tackles for loss, and forcing two fumbles while applying pressure to the quarterback on most passing downs. While some would hope for a bit more production out of Bosa while wearing the scarlet and grey, others dream of what could have been for the 6-4, 265-pound edge rusher if he could have stayed healthy,

Joining a young group that consists of DeForest Buckner, Arik Armstead and Solomon Thomas, Bosa would round out the front four for the 49ers and give them a solid core for years to come. With rehab going well for franchise quarterback Jimmy Garropolo and another early pick in the draft, things are looking up once more for the Niners.
