4. Oakland Raiders: Clelin Ferrell, EDGE, Clemson

It is no secret that the Raiders are in desperate need of a pass rusher, and are likely to add at least one in free agency as well as drafting one at the top of the draft as well. This, of course, comes after Jon Gruden and the Raiders front office elected to trade Khalil Mack rather than pony up for a new contract.

Oakland finished with only 13 sacks total in the 2018 season, less than Khalil Mack finished with alone. And Jon Gruden publicly stated this season, after trading Mack away, that “great pass rushers were hard to come by.”

Well Jon, you’ve come by a great pass rusher, and here is your chance to get your hands on him. Ferrell had an impressive junior season for the national champion Tigers, where he continued off of a successful sophomore campaign, finishing the past two years with a total of 27 sacks, 50 tackles behind the line of scrimmage, and five forced fumbles.

Standing at a tall 6-5 and weighing in at 260 pounds, Ferrell has the measureables of an elite pass rushing prospect. If he goes up to Indianapolis at the end of the month and tests well at the Combine, he will all but solidify his spot as a top-five pick in the upcoming draft.
