7. Jacksonville Jaguars: Jawaan Taylor, OT, Florida

There have been a lot of rumors swirling that Jawaan Taylor is catapulting up draft boards and could jump Jonah Williams as the first tackle taken in the 2019 NFL Draft. Those rumors come to fruition here.

Standing at a large 6-5, 328 pounds, Taylor definitely has the size to make any NFL scout smile and he is expected to test well later this month as he heads to Indianapolis for the Combine as well. Taylor’s biggest question mark would be injury concerns as his past two seasons have been cut short due to injuries, playing a total of only six games over the past two years. His tape jumps off the screen when he is on the field, however.

The Jaguars find themselves in dire need of a tackle after investing large on the interior of their line. Starting first-round bust Ereck Flowers and Corey Robinson by the end of 2018, Jacksonville should take an extended look at Taylor, who they can invite on a local visit without burning an official visit, and seek an upgrade at the tackle position as soon as possible.

While the Jags could seek a quarterback with their first round pick in Kyler Murray or Daniel Jones, it is more imaginable that the team will look for a bridge quarterback and look to make a heavy investment in the quarterback position in 2020.
