Justin Herbert, Oregon Ducks

Justin Herbert would have been the top quarterback drafted in the 2019 NFL Draft. However, he chose to return to Oregon for his senior season. He will be a top draft pick in 2020.

At Oregon, Herbert has completed 544 passes for 7,070 yards with 63 touchdowns and 17 interceptions. He has a career quarterback rating of 151.3. As a runner, he has 510 rushing yards with nine touchdowns.

Physically, Herbert stands 6-6, weighing 233 pounds. Daniel Jeremiah of NFL.com reported the following on the Ducks quarterback:

"I love Herbert’s combination of size, arm talent and athleticism. He’s a gifted thrower who’s capable of driving the ball into tight windows … When he’s given some space, he can gain ground quickly as a runner with his long stride. … Herbert shows the toughness to hang in the pocket and take some shots from opposing pass rushers. He’s also very accurate on the move to both his right and left."

Herbert is the mixture of the tall pocket passer and long, lanky scrambler. He would give the Jaguars a real threat to move the chains when flushed from the pocket. Herbert might be the one quarterback that the Jaguars could afford to wait until 2020 for their franchise quarterback.
