Tua Tagovailoa, Alabama Crimson Tide

Tua Tagovailoa might declare for the NFL Draft in 2020. He came in as a freshman to lead Alabama to the National Championship in 2017-18. He replaced Jalen Hurts as the starting quarterback in the 2018 regular season after a competition.

Tagovailoa was the runner-up in the 2018 Heisman Trophy voting. He struggled through the season due to injury, but led his team to the title game. He should be at full strength this upcoming season.

At Alabama, Tagovailoa has completed 294 passes for 4,602 yards with 54 touchdowns and eight interceptions. He has a quarterback rating of 195.1. Most of all, Tagovailoa has a 68.1 percent completion rate. He stands 6-2, weighing 218 pounds. His athleticism is not limited to pocket passing. He is able to move the chains with his feet.

In two seasons, he has 323 rushing yards with seven touchdowns. He would give Jacksonville a dual threat at quarterback. He could move the Jaguars offense with his arm and his feet.

The question remains, will he leave early for the draft? Tua is projected as the top quarterback for the 2020 quarterback draft class by WalterFootball.com. The Jaguars might be better served to wait in drafting their franchise quarterback.
