The Chicago Bears have tough decisions looming around the roster heading into 2019, but these players should be re-signed for another go-round.

The Chicago Bears have worked to address one need this offseason by bringing in a kicker to compete with Cody Parkey. With limited draft capital after multiple major trades the past two seasons, they’ll have to focus on free agency to do that. While they had a great year, they will be looking to push for more in year two of the Matt Nagy era. To do that, they’ll need to address some positions of need.

One thing that will help them is to bring back role players that are set to be free agents. They won the NFC North and made the playoffs for the first time since the 2010 season, and, with their youth, they can make a habit out of it. Mitchell Trubisky is only going to get better at quarterback, and the defense has a ton of talent at every level.

Finding needs for this team is a lot harder than most due to their great roster construction. They have talent everywhere, but that also means they have a number of expensive guys already, which makes sense when they have the fourth lowest amount of cap space available, per Spotrac, when the offseason starts next month.

If the Bears bring back just one of these three players, their chances of success next season will be much greater. However, this trio should all be re-signed, if possible, by Chicago.
