56. Demario Davis

The one who got away…twice. While starting his career slow, Demario Davis has blossomed into a machine late in his 20s. After four seasons in New York, he signed with the Cleveland Browns in 2016 before being traded back to the Jets in exchange for Calvin Pryor just a year later. After just one more season, he signed a big contract with the New Orleans Saints this past offseason and is a strong asset to their second level.

While a member of the Jets, Davis tallied one interception and a monstrous 473 tackles, 135 of which came in 2017. He also hit the quarterback 34 times and recorded 31 tackles for loss while playing in New York.

57. Mo Lewis

Mo Lewis was also a lifelong Jet, playing all 13 seasons in the league in New York from 1991-2003. Throughout that time, he was named to three Pro Bowls and named an all-pro once in 1998.

Throughout his career, he recorded 14 interceptions, a huge 26 forced fumbles and scored four defensive touchdowns from his linebacker spot. Lewis also tallied over 1,200 tackles, 37 of which came behind the line of scrimmage, and 52.5 sacks.

58. James Farrior

James Farrior, most well known for his time as a Pittsburgh Steeler, started his career in New York and played his first five seasons with the Jets. He went on to play ten more seasons for the Steelers before retiring after the 2011 season and was a two time Pro Bowler for the Steel Curtain.

The former first-round pick had his most forgettable years in New York, only recording 5.5 sacks and about 330 tackles in his five seasons with the Jets. He also intercepted three passes in that span.

59. Kyle Clifton

Rounding out the 50s is Kyle Clifton, the Jets linebacker from 1984-96, the entirety of his career in the NFL. While not named to any Pro Bowls, he was a solid and consistent starter that New York could rely upon for over a decade. In 149 starts, Clifton recorded 12 interceptions and forced 13 fumbles from his inside backer position. He added nearly 1,500 tackles and 5.5 sacks to his career numbers as well.

60. Larry Grantham

Perhaps the best linebacker in Jets history, Larry Grantham was a five time Pro Bowler and all-pro from the years 1960-72. He played his entire career in New York for the Jets. In his 13 year career, Grantham 24 interceptions from his linebacker spot and returned one for a score. He played in the era before tackles and sacks were a recorded stat, so there is no telling the kind of monstrous numbers he tallied throughout his career.
