11. Robby Anderson

Slim pickings at the No. 11, so the most notable player here is current restricted free agent and 2016-18 Jet Robby Anderson. While his services may be retained by New York, who currently hold $105 million in cap space, he is set to hit the open market in less than a month.

New York’s deep threat over the past two seasons, Anderson has tallied a total of over 2,200 yards and 15 touchdowns for the gang green over the past three seasons. The 25-year old has averaged around 100 targets over the past two seasons and has served as the team’s WR1.

12. Joe Namath

Quite possibly the most notable Jet of all-time, Joe Namath is absolutely the most notable player to wear the No. 12, as he is responsible for the Jets’ only Super Bowl win in franchise history. The AFL player of the year and Super Bowl MVP spent 12 seasons in New York before retiring after one season with the Los Angeles Rams in 1977.

Namath threw for over 27,000 yards and 173 touchdowns in his career with the Jets while completing 68 percent of his passes. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1985.

13. Don Maynard

The four time Pro Bowl halfback/flanker for the Giants/Titans/Jets, Don Maynard played in New York for 14 seasons from 1958-72 and was named to the AFL’s first team in 1960. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1987.

Throughout his time in New York, Maynard tallied a monstrous 12,000 yards and 88 touchdowns. He went on to play one more season in 1973 for the St. Louis Cardinals before calling it a career.

14. Sam Darnold

Current quarterback and second-year player out of USC is the most notable player to wear 14. Struggling early in his rookie season, Sam Darnold came along and played well over the last stretch of the season.

Darnold finished his rookie campaign starting 13 games, and in that span, he threw for over 2,800 yards, 17 touchdowns and 15 interceptions. Hopefully the hopeful franchise quarterback and third overall pick takes another step in 2019.

15. Brandon Marshall

Before arriving in New York, Brandon Marshall had been on a number of other teams, and most of them could not put up with his antics enough to warrant wanting to maintain his services; he played for Denver, Miami, and Chicago before landing in the Big Apple. Since his departure, he spent on season with the Giants, then a few weeks with the Seahawks, and one week with the Saints this past season.

With a career of over 12,000 yards receiving and 83 touchdowns, Marshall recorded about 2,300 of those yards and 17 scores while with the gang green for the 2015 and 2016 seasons.
