16. Vinny Testaverde

Throughout his 20 year career, Vinny Testaverde spent seven of those seasons in the Big Apple. Throughout his long career, he threw for 46,000 yards and 275 touchdowns, 12,500 of those yards and 77 of those touchdowns came while starting for the Jets.

Testaverde retired after the 2007 season where he played for the Carolina Panthers; he spent time with the Buccaneers, Browns, Ravens, Cowboys and Patriots throughout his career.

17. Braylon Edwards

The former third overall pick of the Browns in 2005 came to New York via trade after falling out in Cleveland, less than two years removed from a monster season that saw him record 1,200 yards and 16 touchdowns. Spending just a year and a half with the Jets, Edwards played well before signing with the 49ers during free agency in 2011. He was released nine games into that season and returned for another short stay in New York in 2012.

In his tenure with the gang green, he recorded 98 catches, 1,500 yards and 11 touchdowns in 31 games. He then moved on to Seattle in 2012 after three games with the Jets and never saw another opportunity following the season. The former high pick finished a disappointing career with only one Pro Bowl and one season with over 1,000 yards receiving.

18. Al Woodall

Al Woodall had a short lived NFL career playing only five years, all five with the Jets as a quarterback. While his career with the Jets was not illustrious, neither is the roster of players to wear the No. 18 for the Gang Green. He finished his five year career with only 3,000 yards, 18 touchdowns and 23 interceptions. Woodall started 19 games for New York and finished with a record of 5-14.

19. Keyshawn Johnson

Quite possibly the most notable wide receiver in Jets history, Keyshawn Johnson is absolutely the most notable player to wear the number 19 for the New York football Jets. Playing the first four seasons of his career in New York, Johnson went on to play for Tampa Bay, Dallas and Carolina. Johnson finished his career with about 10,500 yards and 64 touchdowns, 4,100 of those yards and 31 of those touchdowns came while he played for the Jets.

20. Thomas Jones

Thomas Jones signed in New York with the Jets after he rushed for over 1,000 yards two years before with the Chicago Bears. At the age of 29 and playing the running back position, it looked like he may be at the end of the line.

However, all Jones did was rush for over 1,100 yards in three straight seasons, while scoring double digit touchdowns in two of those three years from 2007-09. He finished his career as a Jet with 3,800 yards and 28 touchdowns in only three seasons. He went on to play in Kansas City for two seasons after his departure from New York before calling it a career.
