21. LaDainian Tomlinson

Ah yes, LT finished his beautiful career as a Jet. Not many remember that. However, after he rushed for 12,500 yards and 138 touchdowns in nine seasons with the San Diego Chargers, the 31-year old back signed in New York in 2010. While the 2017 Hall of Fame inductee wore the green and white, he rushed for nearly 1,000 yards and six scores in his first season before ending his career with only 280 yards and a score in the last year in the NFL.

22. Ed Reed

Speaking of Hall of Famers ending their careers in New York, Ed Reed spent the last half of his final year in the league with the Jets in 2013. Reed is set to be inducted into the Hall of Fame this August.

In a career where he tallied 64 total interceptions and seven returned for touchdowns, Reed finished his career strong. In only seven games with the Jets at the end of his career, Reed intercepted three passes for the gang green.

23. Shonn Greene

In today’s episode of fun names to remember, we have former Jets running back Shonn Greene. Drafted by the Jets in the 2009 draft, Greene spent four years with the team before signing with the Titans and playing two seasons in Nashville before hanging up his cleats.

Playing two seasons as a change-of-pace and relief back before taking over as the starting bellcow in 2011, (gang) Greene finished his career in a Jets uniform with two 1,000 yard seasons and over 3,400 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns.

24. Darrelle Revis

How is Darrelle Revis not the most notable player to wear 24 for the Jets? All he did was go to five Pro Bowls and was named an All-Pro in four seasons while wearing the green and white. Throughout his career, Revis also played for Tampa Bay, New England, a second stint in New York and then a year in Kansas City.

He finished his career with 25 interceptions, three touchdowns, and a massive 112 passes defended in New York. It will be hard for the New York, and the NFL for that matter, to find a more productive corner than was found on Revis Island.

25. Kerry Rhodes

A five-year starter in New York, Kerry Rhodes is the most notable player to wear 25 for the Jets. Coming to the team in 2005 via the draft, he played the first seasons of his career in the gang green before signing with the Arizona Cardinals in 2010, where he played the last three years of his career.

While playing for the Jets from 2005-2009, Rhodes tallied a tall 15 interceptions, eight forced fumbles, and 11 fumble recoveries from his safety position. Ballhawk is an adequate term to describe Rhodes throughout his career.
