13. Miami Dolphins: Clelin Ferrell, EDGE, Clemson

It’s been a really long time since the Miami Dolphins were a threat in the NFL. They have made the playoffs just two times since the 2002 season and in each case, they lost in the first round of the postseason. In that same span, they’ve had three total seasons with double-digit wins.

Now heading into 2019, they hired a coach with the exact opposite experience in his career. Brian Flores has been with the New England Patriots since 2004, and they have missed the playoffs only once since then — which was in 2008 when Tom Brady suffered a torn ACL. Even with that season on the books, Flores and the Pats never had less than 10 wins and they made the Super Bowl seven times and won four of them, including the most recent.

Miami hopes Flores can bring a winning culture to South Beach, but he’s going to need to get to work on this roster. With several ways they can go, Flores and the Dolphins take Clemson edge rusher Clelin Ferrell. His addition gives them one more winner as the Tigers are fresh off a National Championship themselves. Eventually, if they get enough people who know how to win, the Dolphins can start to shake off some of the losing that’s followed them for so long.
