15. Washington Redskins: Kyler Murray, QB, Oklahoma

Every year, the NFL Draft has a handful of players who seem to generate the most buzz. In 2018, one of the bigger story was Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield, who was questioned as a pro due to his height and some maturity questions. Mayfield won the Heisman, but was just over 6-foot tall and had some moments where he took his taunting too far and was even once busted for public intoxication. Still, he was drafted No. 1 overall and proved to be an absolute stud.

Once again in the 2019 NFL Draft, an Oklahoma quarterback will be one of the featured prospects as Mayfield’s heir is looking to make a name for himself — but has questions surrounding him as well. While Murray doesn’t have any maturity concerns, the 2018 Heisman winner is listed at 5-10, which scares many teams.

However, Murray has said the right things about being committed to football and there are starting to be more players on the shorter side making in in the NFL. That’s all great for the exciting young man who lands with the Washington Redskins here as the heir to Alex Smith — who could miss time this season as he recovers from his broken leg. Should the move for Murray work out, this could end up being one of the most exciting teams in the NFL.
