23. Houston Texans: Andre Dillard, OT, Washington State

One player who did himself a lot of favors at the Senior Bowl was Washington State offensive tackle Andre Dillard. Once destined to be a mid-round pick, Dillard showed great awareness and technique during the practices and then held his own against other top seniors during the game itself.

Since that point, he’s starting to look like one of the more polished left tackles in the draft class. There’s still time for him to jump even higher, but as of now, he’s done well for himself and ends up being taken at No. 23 by the Houston Texans. And for the Texans, this kid is going to be a superstar fast.

That’s because they saw their star quarterback Deshaun Watson struggle all season with free rushers. They still played very well and Watson proved to be one of the best, young signal callers in the game. However, he’s never going to be able to reach his potential if the Texans continue to field one of the worst offensive lines in the game.

Dillard helps them shore up that problem which should help Watson get the ball to his playmakers such as DeAndre Hopkins and Will Fuller.
