25. Philadelphia Eagles: Byron Murphy, CB, Washington

After winning the Super Bowl with backup quarterback Nick Foles last season, the Philadelphia Eagles fell off some in 2018. They made a late-season push after Carson Went was injured and Foles was re-inserted into the lineup but fell short as they were defeated in the divisional round of the playoffs.

After that, there was some debate about what was going to happen under center as there was a contingent that believed Foles gives them the best shot going forward. As for the front office, they were dead set on keeping Wentz — who they drafted at No. 2 in 2016. Foles is likely to be on the move now but their success, or failure, in 2019 will be about more than who plays quarterback. It will be about how their defense performs.

Last season, they were pretty bad, especially on the back end. Philly surrendered 269.2 yards through the air, which landed them at No. 30 overall in the league, according to NFL.com. Injuries also played a part in their struggles last season, so they should be better simply by having the time off to heal up. However, they still need to add some depth. In order to accomplish this, they take Byron Murphy out of Washington, who is one of the better cover corners coming out of the draft.
