57. Philadelphia Eagles: Joshua Jacobs, RB, Alabama

While Jay Ajayi has been a good running back when able to play, he’s had too many scares with his injury problems. Those issues crept back up in 2018, so the Eagles would be wise to start looking at other options for their lead running back role. Joshua Jacobs from Alabama is their pick and he’s going to be a good one. He broke out in his final year with the Tide and leapfrogged his teammate Damien Harris and does so again in the draft.

58. Dallas Cowboys: Isaiah Buggs, DT, Alabama

Alabama players are found all over the league and another gets selected here as the Dallas Cowboys take Isaiah Buggs. A potential three-technique, Dallas needs someone who can replace David Irving, who simply can’t get on the field. He doesn’t get the hype that some of his teammates do, but Buggs had 9.5 sacks this past year and should continue to provide interior pressure at the next level.

59. Indianapolis Colts: Lil’ Jordan Humphrey, WR, Texas

One receiver in the first round was a good move for the Colts, but adding another here in the second also could be in play. After already adding D.K. Metcalf to line up opposite T.Y. Hilton, the Colts now select Lil’ Jordan Humphrey out of Texas. LJH didn’t get the attention Collin Johnson did, but he’s the better pro prospect. His addition, along with Metcalf’s, gives the Colts an incredibly potent receiving corps, and they throw the ball enough to keep them all happy.

60. Los Angeles Chargers: Dre’Mont Jones, DT, Ohio State

The Chargers added a linebacker in the first and now they go up front with Dre’Mont Jones from Ohio State. They already have a great duo on the edges with Bosa and Ingram, but a big guy to plug up lanes in the middle will complete that front four.
