6. New York Giants: Dwayne Haskins, QB, Ohio State

2018 was a weird season for Eli Manning. The 37-year old quarterback actually had a really good season statistically speaking. He had a career-high completion percentage of 66 percent and managed to throw for 4,299 yards. He also had his highest yards-per-attempt season since 2011. As for interception percentage, it was the lowest of his career as he ended up with just 11 picks on 576 passes.

Even with all that looking positive for him, Manning and the Giants won just five games. Overall, the past two seasons he’s been 8-23 as the starter as something just feels off. Blaming all of that on him isn’t fair, but it’s safe to assume that his days with New York are coming to an end.

Looking to turn the page, the G-Men grab Ohio State’s Dwayne Haskins who has emerged as the top quarterback in the 2019 class. After getting minimal playing time in 2017, Haskins took the job full-time in 2018 for the Buckeyes and completely dominated.

He ended up completing 70 percent of his throws for 4,831 yards and 50 touchdown passes — while throwing just eight interceptions. The one and only knock there seems to be going against Haskins is his lack of experience, but that won’t affect his draft status much at all. He’s for real and will come off the board early.
