2. Adding Brown would make Rodgers happy

As mentioned before, part of the reason why the Packers moved on from McCarthy in the middle of last season was due to the belief he was holding Rodgers back from his prime years, which was arguably true.

Any head coach with a quarterback like Rodgers running the offense should have little trouble finding success, yet Green Bay missing out on the playoffs each of the last two seasons shows what exactly this team has been dealing with.

Since Rodgers isn’t getting any younger, and it would be a shame to see the future Hall of Famer continue to be held back as a result of the struggles surrounding the Packers, the organization realizes the importance of making sure he’s in great shape to return to his normal ways in 2019.

While the offense already appears to be in great shape, one can only imagine how dangerous Green Bay would become if Brown were to somehow join the offense as a result of a trade with Pittsburgh.

Making Rodgers happy should always be the top priority for a team like the Packers, and after looking at how much of a nightmare Brown has been for opposing defenses over the years, just imagine how much easier the Green Bay quarterback’s job could be with this kind of new weapon.
