Breshad Perriman

If the Jets are unable to retain the services of current deep threat Anderson, Breshad Perriman is a similar player to him, standing at 6-2 and running a blazing 4.4-second 40-yard dash. The former first round pick of the Baltimore Ravens was cut by the team after three injury and drop prone seasons with the team.

With his future in the league looking bleak, the Cleveland Browns signed him partway through the 2018 campaign while dealing with injuries to their wide receiver room.

While many thought that his stint in Cleveland would be short and he would be cut as soon as Rashard Higgins returned from his injury, Perriman made himself indispensable. While he struggled with drops throughout his career, he found himself of the end of deep ball after deep ball of Baker Mayfield and now has parlayed himself into another contract.

While only catching less than 20 passes in 2018, he was incredibly efficient for the Browns and scored two touchdowns for the team and providing multiple clutch sideline catches on the sideline on third downs and in the fourth quarter of tight ball games. He is looking at a potential one or two year prove it deal to see if his services are sustainable for around $5 million a year.
