5 Wide receivers for New York Jets to target in 2019 NFL free agency

Tyrell Williams
The fifth and final option is a big body that is seeking to leave a crowded receiver room and is looking for an opportunity to prove he and be a number one receiver in the NFL. Tyrell Williams is another target to keep an eye on for the Jets on the open market if they are unable to bring back Anderson.
Hitting unrestricted free agency at only 26 years old and having a 1,000-yard season under his belt, Williams is likely to be a hot commodity. However, the Jets, as previously mentioned, have the ability to outbid just about anyone for his services.
While his production has dropped over the past two seasons, that has more to do with the overcrowding of the Chargers’ wide receiver room with Keenan Allen returning from his injury and the drafting of Mike Williams than it does with Tyrell Williams’ ability.
The catch with Williams is, however, that he will be demanding more than the other options listed, and could see between $12-14 million yearly on the open market. However, given his production, it may be warranted and as long as the money is not guaranteed after two seasons, it could be a great option for the Jets.
