The Arizona Hotshots hope to stay perfect on the 2019 AAF season as they go on the road to face the Salt Lake Stallions on Saturday.
In the first week of the inaugural AAF season, the Arizona Hotshots ran wild over the Salt Lake Stallions, winning the game 38-22. In the second week, the Hotshots offense came back to Earth as they put up only 20 points, but still got the win. As for the Stallions, they managed only nine points in their second-straight loss. On Saturday, however, we get a rematch between these two teams.
Arizona truly has offensive contributors all over the place. Quarterback John Wolford has thrown for 469 yards and six touchdowns to just two interceptions this season. Moreover, running backs Jhurell Pressley and Justin Stockton, as well as wide receiver Rashad Ross, have continued to establish themselves as big weapons to this point.
Though they’ve yet to register a win, Salt Lake has enjoyed some big performances on defense to this point, most notably with Karter Schult already having three sacks on the 2019 AAF season. However, the Stallions really need the likes of Austin Allen, Josh Woodrum and Matt Linehan to step up and play consistently at quarterback if they’re going to make real noise in this league.

The Arizona Hotshots offense was stifled slightly last week in comparison to their previous outing. Having said that, this is the same Salt Lake Stallions team that they hung 38 points on in their first meeting. As such, this first AAF rematch could be a good way for the unbeaten Hotshots to keep any blemish off of their record.
