Round 6, Pick 24: Penny Hart, WR, Georgia State

In need of a complete overhaul at the wide receiver position, the Raiders select their second receiver in this draft and welcome Penny Hart from Georgia State to the Bay Area here at the end of the sixth round.

The speedster performed well in his redshirt junior season, although a step back from the year before, and went to Mobile and turned heads at the Senior Bowl as well and really made a name for himself. Facing Power 5 competition in drills and in the game, Hart was one of the standouts of the All-Star contest and garnered plenty of attention because of it.

A small receiver from a small school with large potential, the 5-8 Hart finished his collegiate career with nearly 3,000 yards receiving and 19 total touchdowns. Expected to be a blazer at the Combine, Hart would come to Oakland and give them fire power from the slot receiver position as well as special teams as a return man, as he averaged 17 yards per punt return during the 2018 campaign.

A team without a big play threat offensively, the Raiders should be looking to address that and add spark players to their roster. Here in the sixth round they do so and add the speedy Hart.
