The Jacksonville Jaguars have eight picks in the upcoming 2019 NFL Draft. Here’s a look at who the Jags might select in order to re-make their roster.

The Jacksonville Jaguars enter the 2019 offseason with the determination to get back into Super Bowl contention. One problem they have is, the salary cap space. They are last in the NFL with available salary cap space, according to Spotrac.

Jacksonville is going to have to make tough, difficult decisions concerning their current roster. There will be players released in order to ease the cap space. As of now, the Jaguars do not have the cap space to pay their draft class.

This situation may curtail their pursuit of available free agents in March. Expect Jacksonville to have a young roster in 2019. Younger players, especially draft picks, are less expensive than big name talents.

General manager Dave Caldwell and his team will earn their money in the next few months. The Combine is very soon and free agency follows quickly. After those two events, they can concentrate on completing the roster, hopefully building quality depth.

Everyone knows how fluid each day plays out. Sometimes, teams make unexpected moves. Predicting draft picks are just that — a prediction based upon need. Jacksonville needs help on the offensive side of the ball. Here’s a seven round mock draft for the Jags.
