Jacksonville Jaguars: 7-Round 2019 mock draft pre-Combine
By Larry Brake
Round 6: Olisaemeka Udoh, OT, Elon
Olisaemeka Udoh played at a small college but has a big presence on the field. Udoh stands 6-5, weighing 336 pounds. He played in all games in his career at Elon. He earned an invite to play in the 2019 Senior Bowl. Udoh took advantage of his opportunity to impress the professional scouts in attendance. Joe Marino of The Draft Network included Udoh on his list of biggest winners at Senior Bowl week practices.
Marino reported the following:
"Udoh had an incredible week. … His body composition is what the NFL is looking for. His long arms, mobility and power were on full display during 1v1s and he shined in an overall underwhelming offensive line group. Udoh earned the call up to the Senior Bowl with his stand out performance …"
The Jaguars are looking to solidify the right side of the offensive line. Udoh might be the right guy to anchor the right side. Last year’s draftee, Will Richardson, spent the entire season on the injured reserve list.
Jacksonville would benefit by selecting Udoh because of his ability and work ethic. Hopefully, he will be available here in the sixth round. He is a welcomed addition to the Jaguars offense.
