We are officially less than one week from testing at the Combine, and with buzz heading into the festivities, here is an updated seven-round mock draft for the New York Jets.

With a few more weeks past, another updated seven-round mock draft for the New York Jets is due to drop, and look no further. With injuries, reports, risers and fallers, the 2019 NFL Draft landscape looks a bit different than it did three weeks ago. One thing remains: the Jets still only have six picks in the upcoming draft.

With $105 million in cap space, the Jets’ team needs are bound to change between now and draft day, as the team is in the market for wide receivers and running backs, especially with the team on the verge of cutting Isaiah Crowell, who was signed one year ago. This week the team also announced the departure of defensive tackle Mike Pennel as well, creating another need at depth along the front four.

In addition to defensive line, receiver, and running back, the Jets should sincerely consider searching for a cornerback, as well as taking major steps towards overhauling the interior of their offensive line.

The Jets may find themselves trading out with a quarterback needy team, as they secured franchise quarterback Sam Darnold one year ago. If the Jets stay at three, the strong point of this draft class remains edge rushers, so expect the pick to be a hunter of the quarterback.

NOTE: The Jets do not own a second or sixth round pick in the draft
