30. Trent Dilfer

Trent Dilfer will always be considered by some football fans as the quarterback who hit the jackpot by happening to be the one under center when the Baltimore Ravens managed to win the Super Bowl during the 2000 season with one of the top defenses in the league.

After starting the year off on a rough note with Tony Banks as their quarterback, the Ravens would eventually make the switch to Dilfer. He would go 7-1 as the starter with only 12 touchdown passes to his name, compared to 11 interceptions.

With these numbers in mind, along with the 153 passing yards with a touchdown during Super Bowl XXXV against the New York Giants, it’s easy to understand why Dilfer is viewed as the quarterback who hit the jackpot.

Baltimore’s defense was clearly the reason behind the team winning the Super Bowl that season. Dilfer’s decision to sign with the team after spending the first six years of his career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers turned out to work wonders.

Despite finishing his career on three different teams, this wasn’t even as frustrating for Dilfer. Nothing can take away that he’ll forever be a Super Bowl champion from the one-year stint in Baltimore.
