28. Sam Bradford

Before any football fan has a meltdown over how Sam Bradford is part of this list, when he’s never even been to the playoffs as a starter, there are at least a few positive factors to take away from his career, even if he was ridiculously overpaid.

For a team that was in desperate need of help at the quarterback position, the then-St. Louis Rams expected a lot more from Bradford when they decided to use the No. 1 overall pick on him in the 2010 NFL Draft. He only ended up being disappointed for the most part in St. Louis.

After a 7-9 record as a rookie, little did the Rams know that Bradford would take a step back during his sophomore NFL season by only winning one of his 10 starts.

Whether it was lack of wins, or the constant injuries he was dealing with, Bradford will mostly be remembered as the quarterback St. Louis wasted all that money on by fans.

Without question, Bradford showed some improvement when joining the Philadelphia Eagles through a trade in 2015. He even appeared to have a bright future in Philadelphia before the team pulled off a surprise trade right before the start of Week 1 during the 2016 season.

This may not seem like that big of a deal, but watching Bradford set the single-season completion percentage record of 71.6 percent during his first year under center with the Minnesota Vikings gave hope about his future. Unfortunately, he would continue to be haunted by injuries in Minnesota and later with the Arizona Cardinals.
