4. Detroit Lions

To claim Matthew Stafford needs extra help in the passing game for the Detroit Lions would be a huge understatement after looking at how things played out last season, especially once the Golden Tate trade to the Eagles was put in place.

The good news for a team like the Lions is between the upcoming free agency period along with the draft in April, Detroit should be able to help fill some of the voids in the passing game, although if they could land Brown, this would be so much better.

Over the course of his career, Stafford has always been the kind of quarterback who makes the players around him better, and it’s been difficult for him to find a reliable No. 1 wideout like he used to have when Calvin Johnson was around.

Brown certainly isn’t going to solve all the problems Detroit dealt with last season while adjusting to Matt Patricia as their new head coach, but at least it would be a major step in the right direction.

Without question, a potential move like this would easily put the Lions in much better position to turn things around to hopefully jump back into the conversation of potential playoff contender in the NFC.
