15. Washington: D.K. Metcalf, WR, Mississippi

At Washington’s pick in the first version, the team still picked a wide receiver, but here D.K. Metcalf from Ole Miss jumps N’Keal Harry as the number one ranked wide receiver in this draft class. I mean, did you see the picture of him in the weight room? The big bodied wide receiver has a large catch radius and would dominate the NFC East for years.

This week, another report came out that he is completely healthy from his severe neck injury, and is expected to run a 4.4-second 40-yard dash. If the 6-4 and 225-pound wide receiver can run a 4.4 in the 40, then there is no doubt that he should be the first receiver off of the board in the 2019 NFL Draft.

Here in this mock, he is the first off of the board over Harry, and Kelvin Harmon. If Metcalf can clear his medical concerns and test off of the charts, it could be suspected that he could go even earlier than halfway through the first round of the draft.

Washington would gain a major asset to their otherwise disappointing wide receiver room and give whomever their quarterback will be in 2019 a huge target with a massive catch radius.
