2. Myles Gaskin, Washington

Similar to Holyfield, Myles Gaskin isn’t the biggest running back around, but he is a solid player with experience. He also has good versatility, which is something that Nagy has valued in the past. He lined up in the Wildcat formation multiple times in his collegiate career, and, while he only attempted two passes in that time, he gives Nagy the ability to present even more looks for defenses to diagnose.

Gaskin isn’t an elite receiving threat, but he is a better dual-threat option than Holyfield with 65 career receptions to his name. He’s also a shifty back with the ability to make tacklers miss without completely losing his momentum. He gives the Bears somewhat of a combo option that forbids opposing defenses from keying in on what type of play they may run as a result of this.

When he has the ball, Gaskin has tremendous vision. Not only can he see the hole and make his break into it, but he has great vision in the open field to diagnose incoming defenders and make them miss, and do so with impressive quickness in his decision-making. Gaskin gives the Bears the ability to take a guy in the fourth round that could make an impact in year one.
