Los Angeles Rams: Aqib Talib

The Los Angeles Rams went out and spent a lot of money last offseason. They brought in guys like Aqib Talib, Marcus Peters and Ndamukong Suh just to name a few.

All of those guys played key roles for the team during the 2018 season, helping the Rams make it all the way to the Super Bowl, where they ultimately lost to the New England Patriots 13-3 in Atlanta.

Heading into next season, the Rams should again be of the better teams in the NFC. They will have a lot of those names back. Sure, Suh is gone, but he was way too expensive. Not to mention, the team could go out and fill the void left by him in a cheaper fashion this offseason.

When it comes to Talib, he had injuries hinder his 2018 campaign with the Rams, but when healthy, he proved he is still a solid cornerback. The problem is, he will be 33 years old and the Rams have two solid cornerbacks already on the roster in Peters and Nickell Roby-Coleman.

Talib comes with an $8 million cap hit in 2019, which is a big chunk of change for a team that has only a little over $23 million in cap space heading into the offseason. He comes with no dead money if the team decides to move on from him. When you look at the roster as a whole, he could end up being a cap casualty.
