Philadelphia Eagles: Nelson Agholor

The Philadelphia Eagles made another magical run towards the end of the 2018 NFL season, as Nick Foles once again stepped in for the injured Carson Wentz. Though the season did not end in the Super Bowl, as it did the year before, the Eagles did show that they are a team with a lot of fight. They should be back in the conversation again in 2019.

When it comes to the roster heading into next season, there is a lot to like about the 2019 Eagles, but there are still some holes to fill. The team is still looking for another star wide receiver to put alongside Alshon Jeffery, as Nelson Algholor still has not been able to step into that role.

During the last two seasons, Algholor has averaged nearly 100 targets. Despite playing in all 16 games in 2018, he found the end zone only four times. For the year, Algholor finished with 64 catches for 736 yards, as he was relied upon heavily in the passing game by both Wentz and Foles.

The issue with Algholor is that he has yet to hit his potential. He is owed nearly $10 million by the Philadelphia Eagles next season. That is a lot of money for a guy who has yet to eclipse the 1,000-yard mark in his career. With a dead cap number of zero, the Eagles could look to move on from him this off-season.
