1. Foles could reunite with John DeFilippo

Looking back at that incredible Super Bowl run by the Eagles during the 2017 season, Doug Pederson received a ton of credit for making the necessary adjustments on offense to help bring out the best in Foles.

However, Philadelphia fans remember well just how great of a job John DeFilippo did as well since he was the quarterbacks coach at the time, and without his impact, that epic Super Bowl win may never have taken place for the Eagles.

As a result of his accomplishments, DeFilippo would go on to earn the job as offensive coordinator for the Minnesota Vikings, and even though things didn’t work out for the best in 2018, he would quickly land his next gig in the same position this offseason, only with the Jaguars.

Not long after DeFilippo was hired by Jacksonville, there was already speculation about the possibility of Foles coming on board if Philadelphia were to move on from the quarterback in the offseason since the thought of the two reuniting would have all sorts of potential.

Now that Foles will officially become available, all eyes will be on the Jaguars to see if they can find a way to help DeFilippo reunite with his former quarterback. If this does happen, Jacksonville’s offense would most likely be able to show major improvement heading into the 2019 season, and hopefully return to their winning ways from the 2017 season as a top contender in the AFC.
