Day 1 of the athletic testing at the 2019 NFL Combine gets underway on Friday, March 1 with NFL Draft prospects on the field, and here’s how you can watch.

NFL Draft gurus and fanatics unite — the 2019 NFL Combine has finally arrived. While measurements and interviews have been underway in Indianapolis over the past couple of days, Friday, March 1 marks the first day of on-field drills and athletic testing. While these are not the end-all of a prospect’s evaluation, how players perform in Indianapolis can help or hurt their stock in some manner.

On Friday with Day 1 of testing at the NFL Combine starting, we’ll see running backs, offensive linemen and special teamers take the field at Lucas Oil Stadium and put their testing on display. Obviously certain drills and tests matter more for certain positions.

For instance, you should care much more about how a running back performs in the 40-yard dash than an offensive tackle. Contrarily, how an offensive lineman does in shuffle drills is far more intriguing for evaluations than it is for a running back. As for the kickers and punters, well, they’re just in Indianapolis to kick a little bit in drills.

Eyes will certainly be on the likes of Joshua Jacobs, David Montgomery, Miles Sanders, Darrell Henderson and many other running backs on Friday at the NFL Combine. As for the linemen, how guys like Jonah Williams, Greg Little, Cody Ford and so on show out will go a long way in them proving themselves.
