20. Montez Sweat, EDGE, Mississippi State

Yet another edge rusher, Montez Sweat from Mississippi State rounds out the top 20 of this 2019 NFL Draft big board. The Michigan State transfer parlayed a successful senior year with the Bulldogs into a Senior Bowl invite where he wowed general managers and scouts with during team drills and during the game. The middle of the pack as far as edge rushers are concerned gets a bit murky, but Sweat manages to crack the top half.

19. Cody Ford, OT, Oklahoma

Becoming the fourth offensive lineman in the top 20, Cody Ford of Oklahoma comes in at 19. With many teams in need of an offensive tackle from the 18-25 range, Ford is most likely going to be a first round pick. Oakland, Minnesota, Carolina, Seattle and Houston should all have their sights set on one of these offensive lineman. Ford measured at nearly 6-4 and 329 pounds on Wednesday in Indianapolis and looks like a first rounder at this point in the pre-draft process.

18. D.K. Metcalf, WR, Ole Miss

D.K. Metcalf becomes the first receiver on the big board, and cracks the top-20 at 18. Comparing well to Josh Gordon, Metcalf has the size and speed to be an elite receiver at the next level. There are also rumors out there that he may run a sub 4.4-second 40, and if he does that, his stock will skyrocket. While injuries remain a concern for Metcalf, he may easily be the first receiver off of the board in April.

17. Greedy Williams, CB, LSU

The second cornerback listed on this top 50, Greedy Williams from LSU comes in at 16 behind only Murphy. The ultra-athletic Williams will test off the charts and see himself climb up big boards, but he also lacks a certain technical precision. His positional drills will be of the utmost importance for him this weekend. If the 6-1 corner can prove that he has the hips and can play the ball in the air to go along with his athleticism, then he could jump to CB1.

16. Jonah Williams, OT, Alabama

With his stock taking a bit of a hit concerning his size and whether or not he is big enough to play tackle in the NFL, Jonah Williams measured with great arm length while weighing in at only 305 pounds. His arm length will work in his favor has his tape dsiplays great foot work, but for now his draft stock remains a bit of a mystery, especially after being dominated by Ferrell in the National Championship Game.

15. Jachai Polite, EDGE, Florida

In a deep edge rusher class, Jachai Polite sees himself as the seventh edge rusher in the top 15 of this big board and my just have the best bend around the edge of them all. The Gator junior only had one full season as a starter coming off of the edge and did not disappoint, producing a massive 11 sacks and nearly 20 tackles behind the line of scrimmage. Polite hopes that production will translate to the next level.

14. Yodny Cajuste, OT, West Virginia

The second tackle to crack the big board behind Taylor, Cajuste is a moster, measuring at nearly 6-5 and weighing 312 pounds at the NFL Combine on Wednesday. The Mountaineer rounds out the top 15 and could very well see himself as the second tackle off of the board in a deep tackle class. The mauler from West Virginia should be on the radar of the Minnesota Vikings and the Carolina Panthers.

13. Byron Murphy, CB, Washington

The first corner to be listed on the big board, Byron Murphy from the University of Washington comes in at 13. Athletically gifted with a fine technique, Murphy’s only knock is his size, but Denzel Ward proved that size doesn’t mean everything as he had a fantastic rookie season. Murphy looks to do the same for one lucky team in 2019.

12. Rashan Gary, DL, Michigan

It is going to be hard pressed to find an edge rusher more athletic than Rashan Gary, who comes in at the 12th spot on this top 50. However, his production at Michigan did not match his athleticism, lacking a true position during his three years as we Wolverine. While he lacked a true position, edge or three-tech, some lucky NFL team that runs multiple fronts like the Jacksonville Jaguars may look at him as a key weapon.

11. Brian Burns, EDGE, Florida State

Florida State’s Brian Burns joins the list right outside of the top ten. Burns is going to wow a lot of scouts and general managers this weekend when he tests, but his size is a concern as he gives a Barkevious Mingo vibe. However, although he is only listed at 235, he has the frame to add weight on and has an opportunity to prove that he has when he weights in this week at the combine.
