Here are five teams that may express interest in Josh Rosen through a trade if the Arizona Cardinals decide to go with Kyler Murray at No. 1 in the 2019 NFL Draft.

Despite trading up last spring to land Josh Rosen with the hope of the former UCLA star being the quarterback of the future, there has been some talk surrounding the Arizona Cardinals heading into the 2019 NFL Draft over the possibility of going with Kyler Murray at No. 1.

With all due respect to Rosen since it’s unfair to judge a young quarterback after only one year of action, the Cardinals find themselves in a difficult position since in comparison, Murray appears to be the better quarterback at the moment, and it’s not even close.

Even if the case can be made that giving up on Rosen after one season would be foolish for Arizona since the team didn’t exactly do the best job at providing him with the proper offense to work with, it would be crushing to see Murray turn out to be the better quarterback.

Obviously, there’s no way to determine whether this will be the case until Murray actually steps foot on the field in the NFL, which is most likely part of the reason why the Cardinals are weighing out all their options at No. 1, whether it would mean Rosen needs to be dealt or not.

The good news for Arizona is if they did in fact end up decide that Murray was too good of a talented player to pass on with the top overall pick in April, chances are they would be willing to find a trade parter for Rosen.
