2. Washington Redskins

Football fans couldn’t help but feel bad for the Washington Redskins last season since this team seemed to have the talent to compete for a playoff spot, only to come up just shy, as all of the injuries were just too difficult to overcome.

Most importantly, nothing tops the brutal leg injury suffered by Alex Smith since the veteran quarterback is already expected to miss the entire 2019 season, meaning the Redskins don’t have a choice other than to explore all potential options, even if it sounds unfair.

When looking ahead to the upcoming draft, Washington is one of a few teams expected to explore the possibility of going with a quarterback in the first round, but since Rosen technically fits that criteria, this could become a possibility as well.

Of course, the Redskins would need to decide if they would be willing to be patient with Rosen since his rookie campaign made it clear he’s a work in progress, and could need another year or two to help develop.

From Washington’s perspective, if this were to be the approach they take, the question they have to decide is whether Rosen would be worth it in the long run, or if the team would be setting themselves back of getting back on track.
