Yosuah (Yosh) Nijman, Virginia Tech

A name that is not a well-known name at this point, Yosh Nijman put himself on the map with his performance at the combine. Although he did not participate in the 40-yard dash nor the vertical jump, he displayed a great amount of agility and athleticism on the field during his drills. Measuring in at a massive 6-7, 324 pounds, Nijman also had his arms measured at 34 inches and 10-inch hands.

Nijman did put up 27 reps on the bench press and soar for a broad jump of 9.5 feet. He also put up comparable times in the 3-cone drill and 20-yard shuttle as first round lock Jonah Williams did, who is considered as one of the more agile lineman in this class. In fact, Nijman put up the second fastest short shuttle time of any one, behind only Dillard.

In the on-the-field drills, his agility shined through as his footwork and lateral movement stood out. While right now, Nijman is projected as a Day 3 pick, but after his performance on Friday, he may sneak into Day 2.

His stock is definitely on the rise, and while he still may be a player in need of development, Nijman is a name to keep a close eye on as the pre-draft process continues on.
