What a loaded 2019 NFL Draft class of tight ends that teams have to chose from this year, which made it extremely difficult to pick only three prospects that are on the rise after the tight ends took part in the on-field drills. However, three stood out among the rest and as a result, should see an increase in their draft stock in this deep class, especially considering the trend of multiple tight end sets.
Throughout the measurements, testing, and on-field drills, there was plenty to nitpick, and while some like Isaac Nauta from Georgia did not take advantage of their spotlight, T.J. Hockenson, Dalton Knox, Jace Sternberger and Caleb Wilson are among those that did well for themselves. If your team needs a tight end, this is the year to snag one.
While the three mentioned earlier put on a good show, they performed as expected. Three tight ends in particular really boosted their stock and will, as a result, hear their names called earlier than anticipated.
