Denver Broncos: Post-Combine 7-round 2019 mock draft
Round 6: Isaiah Prince, OT, Ohio State
Another developmental prospect for Munchak, Isaiah Prince likely translates as a right tackle only at the next level, which is where he played for the Ohio State Buckeyes. At 6-7 and 305 pounds, Prince brings good athletic traits to the field, but has struggled putting them all together in a nice, consistently productive package.
He’s a good run blocker, so he will likely get his shot to play at some point in the NFL, but will need extensive work with his hands and feet in pass pro. He is a high-upside, low-floor guy, but I’d be willing to wait and see if he can turn into something under Munchak’s tutelage.
Round 7: Preston Williams, WR, Colorado State
When you are this late in the draft, sometimes you just go with who your gut says has the best chance to turn into something in the pros. A 6-4, 210-pound receiver, Preston Williams could be another downfield target for Joe Flacco.
In 2018 with Colorado State, Williams caught 96 balls for 1,345 yards and 13 touchdowns. He is almost in the vein of a Chad Kelly, in that he is a player who was very productive in college, but also has considerable red flags in his past that prevents him from being taken much earlier. The Broncos took a chance on Kelly then, and should take another on Williams now.
