19. Tennessee Titans: Christian Wilkins, DT, Clemson

In his first season as the head coach of the Tennessee Titans, Mike Vrabel led his club to a 9-7 record but they just missed the playoffs. There were a lot of problems with the offense and the Titans could look to address that in the first round of this draft. Or, they may be scared off considering they tried that with Corey Davis and it did little to fix things.

The reason for that is simply because the root of their problems is the inconsistent play of quarterback Marcus Mariota. Until they realize his inability to stay healthy, coupled with his up and down play is their problem, things won’t change.

With that out of the way, Vrabel attempts to add even more defensive firepower. Already a string unit, the Titans can get better by shoring up the defensive line. Outside of Jurrell Casey, no players graded as much as a 70 according to Pro Football Focus (subscription required) which makes it even more impressive that they played so well in 2019.

In an effort to become stronger up front, they land Christian Wilkins out of Clemson. Able to play a multitude of spots on the line, Wilkins can have a huge impact right away for a team that prides itself on shutting down opposing offenses.
