2019 NFL Mock Draft: Kyler Murray climbs in Post-combine two-round projection

22. Baltimore Ravens: A.J. Brown, WR, Ole Miss
Last year, the Baltimore Ravens went out and addressed their passing game. They made some moves in free agency to patch the wideout spot for one season, but the real work they did was in adding tight ends Hayden Hurst and Mark Andrews as well as quarterback Lamar Jackson. Now heading into 2019, they look to have just Willie Snead left over from their receiver moves, meaning they need to add to this group.
At this point in the mock, the best option looks to be A.J. Brown out of Ole Miss. He’s been completely overshadowed by teammate D.K. Metcalf which took a lot of shine off his star. He was able to remind us all that he’s an athlete as well. Brown put up a respectable 4.49 in the 40-yard dash, which silenced concerns about his speed.
He also had 19 reps in the bench press, which shouldn’t be too surprising considering he was known as a strong receiver for the Rebels. Listed at 6-0, Brown weighed in at 226 pounds and can provide a solid option for their new franchise leading quarterback — who needs a legitimate No. 1 option like Brown to grow alongside.
