Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Heading into the 2019 offseason, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers primarily have only 2018 second round pick Ronald Jones on their roster, who had a very underwhelming rookie season. Primary back Peyton Barber is a restricted free agent and has not yet received a tender from the Bucs, so their the team should be looking to bring a back or two to Tampa Bay.

New head coach Bruce Arians has fallen in love with versatile backs time and time again, and Coleman would fit that mold. A poor man’s David Johnson, Coleman has still displayed the ability to be a threat on the ground and through the air in his first four years in the league and give Arians and Jameis Winston another weapon on their already highly talented offense.

For a team like the Bucs who are currently in a bind cap wise, Coleman could be an affordable and productive piece to bring to Tampa Bay; expect Coleman to see to get a look from Bucs’ general manager Jason Licht this offseason.

If the Buccaneers can provide Coleman with the ability to perform in a bigger role than Atlanta provided for him, then he could make the jump to the division rival Buccaneers this offseason.
