The 2019 free agency frenzy is officially less than a week away, and while the New York Jets are primed to be big spenders, who are some cheaper options?

Free agency is set to begin as players can officially be pursued on the open market next week. Entering this period in the offseason, the New York Jets sit with a wealthy $100 million in cap flexibility and look to be big spenders in free agency.

With names such as Le’Veon Bell, Mark Ingram, Ronald Darby and C.J. Mosley could be among the bigger and more expensive names that the Jets have been rumored to want to make a run at, there are several serviceable players available at a bargained discount. It would not be a shock to see New York pursue some of those players to provide a bridge at positions where a void currently sits.

Some on expiring contracts, others recently released from their previous teams in order to clear cap space, there are plenty of players who have played at a Pro Bowl level in their career set to hit the market next week when free agency opens. Expect a good balance of going after big named superstars at all costs and reaching agreements with stop gap players as well from the Jets this offseason.
