Mike Iupati, OG

While Mike Iupati is 31 years old, he has performed to the tune of some productive his 30s, and as a result will draw some interest on the open market once free agency opens.

With the interior of their offensive line in shambles, the Jets should be a contender to add Iupati to their roster. The best part is, he probably will not be over expensive to obtain his services either since he is on the back half of his career.

In the 2018 season, Foster racked up a score of 62.9 according to Pro Football Focus (subscription required), rating him as an average starter in the NFL, better than the Jets had in 2018. He has played his nine-year career with both the San Francisco 49ers and the Arizona Cardinals, and has been named the starter in every year of his career.

Again, the Jets can win a bidding war for Iupati’s services if they want to, but do not anticipate them spending more than $6 million for him. At that price, Iupati would be a steal considering younger interior offensive lineman of Iupati’s caliber are seeing upwards of $10 million annually. After cutting Spencer Long the Jets should throw their hats into the ring to sign Iupati.
