In case it has gone unnoticed, all four teams in the AFC South have dome their share of pilfering from their divisional rivals during free agency. Back in 2017, Jacksonville Jaguars’ safety Johnathan Cyprien was signed by the Titans and Houston Texans’ cornerback A.J. Bouye joined the Jaguars.

Last offseason, wide receiver Donte Moncrief left the Indianapolis Colts and head south to Jacksonville while Jaguars’ corner Aaron Colvin signed with Houston. And that just a small sample size of some of the wheeling and dealing within the division.

This is a team that is certainly in need of help in the secondary, particularly at cornerback. The franchise recently released 2015 first-round pick Kevin Johnson, who proved to be a disappointment. Veteran corners Kareem Jackson, Kayvon Webster and Shareece Wright are all slated to become unrestricted free agents next week.

So if you are the Texans, why not turn to another division rivals for some defensive help? Cornerback Pierre Desir has certainly found a home in the Indianapolis’ secondary since joining the team in 2017. He’s played in 25 regular-season contests (18 starts) and totaled two interceptions while knocking down 15 passes and forcing a pair of fumbles. The 2014 fourth-round pick of the Cleveland Browns will be drawing a lot of interest around the league.
