Seattle Seahawks: 7-Round 2019 mock draft after NFL Combine
By Cory Kinnan
The NFL Scouting Combine has come and gone as draft boards have shifted. Here is an updated 7-round 2019 mock draft for the Seattle Seahawks.
After the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, draft boards have been reset, and some blown up altogether. Big boards have shifted, and therefore so have mock drafts. It is time for an updated 7-round mock draft for the Seattle Seahawks.
It does, however feel a bit disingenuous to call it a 7-round mock when the Seahawks have only four picks. Entering the pre-draft process, Seattle does not have a second, sixth or seventh rounder in the 2019 NFL Draft.
After franchise tagging Frank Clark, the Seahawks have one less need to fill on the field, which is a good thing considering that they only have $33 million in cap space and these six picks. The team has yet to make any cuts to clear anymore spending flexibility for free agency to this point, however Kam Chancellor is still on the books for Seattle at $12.5 million, so if he were to officially retire that would clear up a great deal of room.
Entering the offseason, the Seahawks are hoping to plug holes along the offensive line and at defensive tackle. It would also behoove the Seahawks to get Wilson another shiny toy to get the ball to as well. Here is the full 7-round mock for Seattle.
