With their next free agent addition, the Buffalo Bills continue to build their offensive line by significantly improving their right tackle situation by signing Daryl Williams. Right tackle was an absolute black hole for the Bills last year, as Jordan Mills struggled to even play the position at a passable level. Simply put, the Bills cannot go into the 2019 season with Mills as their primary right tackle. An upgrade is desperately needed.

If it weren’t for a torn MCL and dislocated knee cap suffered last season, Williams would likely be entering free agency looking for a massive pay day. He emerged as a top-level NFL offensive tackle in 2017, when he was a second-team All-Pro selection. Williams is a powerful offensive lineman who excels as a run blocker and a pass protector. He has quick feet, can dominate at the point of attack and uses his hands well in all aspects of offensive line play.

When healthy, Williams is one of the best right tackles in the NFL and could become a nice value this off season because he is coming off of an injury. Make no mistake about it, adding Williams would be a massive improvement for the Bills at right tackle.
