Round 6, Pick 175: Michael Jordan, OG, Ohio State

Though the Steelers were able to agree to deals with both center Maurkice Pouncey and left guard Ramon Foster to shore up their stud of an offensive line. However, by trading away Marcus Gilbert, the Pittsburgh front now does need to add some depth along that front. That’s what they do here with Michael Jordan. While Jordan isn’t a polished player, the right molding can make this physically impressive ball of clay an impressive cog on a line.

Round 6, Pick 192: Tyre Brady, WR, Marshall

The Steelers need to add more than just Hall in regards to wide receiver, so they dip again into a strong class at the position by taking Tyre Brady out of Marshall in the sixth round. A transfer from Miami, there are minor character issues with the 6-3 wideout. However, he has tremendous physical tools that project for him to develop into a reliable target that is a nightmare when facing press coverage given his frame.

Round 6, Pick 207 (via Cardinals): Saivion Smith, CB, Alabama

After taking Greedy Williams in the first round, the Steelers again address the cornerback position with the pick they acquired in the Gilbert trade. Saivion Smith has all the tools you want in a corner from speed to willingness to tackle and so on. However, his technique is not yet in a place where he can be successful in the NFL. With the proper coaching, though, he could be a steal for Pittsburgh.

Round 7, Pick 219: Austin Bryant, EDGE, Clemson

The 2019 draft class is littered with Clemson defensive linemen and Austin Bryant is the lowest rated player of that group. He has some promising physical traits that make you believe that he could contribute down the line, but he might not be ready to just yet. Having said that, with the Steelers putting just a seventh round pick into him, he could provide solid depth on the edge where they need it.
